Tompolo-backed PBAT Movement takes free medical outreach to Ugboha

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has organised a free medical outreach in Ugboha, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, providing residents with medical attention and medication as part of its community engagement activities.

The outreach, according to the organisers, was powered by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Innocent Ozubu said the initiative was designed to demonstrate concern for the health and welfare of residents, stressing that communities deserved attention and access to essential healthcare services.

Ozubu explained that his personal connection to Ugboha, alongside that of his wife, Mrs. Oghenetega Innocent, influenced the decision to organise the outreach in the community.

Mrs. Innocent, who said she was married to a son of the community, described the programme as an opportunity to extend the movement’s outreach to her husband’s hometown and provide residents with access to medical services.

The event also attracted the Esan South-East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Tega Patrick Amiegbebhor, who expressed support for the initiative and linked it to political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Amiegbebhor said the outreach would help residents appreciate what he described as the achievements of President Tinubu, while commending Tompolo for supporting the movement.

Ozubu described the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as a grassroots political initiative established to promote support for Tinubu. He identified Tompolo as its sponsor and Chief Dr. Kestin Pondi as one of those helping to spread its message.

A beneficiary of the outreach expressed satisfaction with the services provided by the medical personnel, commending the doctors and nurses for the care they extended to participants.

The beneficiary also appreciated the organisers for providing medication and food for attendees.

Although the organisers did not disclose the number of people who benefited from the exercise, they described the turnout as substantial.

The outreach combined the provision of healthcare services with political engagement, reflecting the movement’s stated commitment to reaching communities and promoting support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Under its guiding message that every door matters, the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement says it seeks to take its activities and message directly to residents at the grassroots level.
