Lola Alao partners Most Beautiful Girl Pageant, rallies Ogun entertainers

Nollywood actress and hospitality entrepreneur, Lola Alao, has thrown her full support behind the upcoming Most Beautiful Girl Pageant, while announcing plans to use the unveiling of her newly rebranded hotel in Ijebu to promote greater collaboration among entertainers and creative industry stakeholders in Ogun State.

The actress and entrepreneur is set to unveil Dealings Hotel and Suites Ijebu, in October, with the development expected to further strengthen the relationship between hospitality, entertainment, beauty and community development in the state.

As part of the partnership, Dealings Hotel and Suites, Ijebu have pledged their support for the Most Beautiful Girl initiative and its contestants.

The collaboration is aimed at creating a platform where beauty, entertainment, hospitality and networking can come together while providing opportunities for young talents across Ogun State.

Meeting of entertainment, beauty and hospitality

During a recent meeting with Lola Alao, a representative of the Most Beautiful Girl initiative, Mr. Nigeria, expressed appreciation for the actress’s contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry.

He described Lola Alao as one of the notable personalities in Nollywood whose work has continued to inspire audiences, adding that he looked forward to the opportunity to work with her on a movie project.

The engagement also opened discussions on a broader partnership involving established entertainers, beauty industry stakeholders, hospitality operators and emerging talents in Ogun State.

Hotel backs Most Beautiful Girl Pageant

Dealings Hotel and Suites, Ijebu, will be supporting the Most Beautiful Girl Pageant as the hotel prepares for its unveiling and rebranding this October.

The partnership is expected to provide an avenue for entertainment personalities, contestants, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to network and promote the creative and hospitality industries in Ogun State.

The development also aligns with efforts to create stronger connections between established personalities and young people seeking opportunities within the state’s growing creative economy.

Voting begins October 1

The public voting phase of the Most Beautiful Girl Pageant is scheduled to commence on October 1, 2026, at 12:00 midnight.

Members of the public will be able to participate through the designated voting platform, where each contestant will have an individual profile.

Supporters will be required to visit the official voting website, select their preferred contestant, open the contestant’s profile and cast their votes.

Contestants are expected to mobilise their families, friends, communities, supporters and well-wishers throughout the voting period.

Voting will run from October 1 to October 21, 2026, ahead of the grand pageant scheduled for November 21, 2026.

Lola Alao seeks greater unity among Ogun entertainers

Beyond the pageant, Lola Alao is also seeking to encourage greater unity among entertainers and public figures with connections to Ogun State.

She plans to reach out to actors, actresses, musicians, media personalities and other notable figures who were born, raised or have strong ties to the state, with a view to bringing them together around a common vision.

The initiative is expected to promote collaboration among Ogun-based talents, create opportunities for young people, support local businesses and hospitality operators, and contribute to the growth and visibility of the state’s entertainment and creative industry.
