IPM ESSEN 2027, the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture, is introducing an international delegation programme designed to connect decision-makers from key and emerging markets with exhibitors and stakeholders in the global green sector.
The programme, scheduled as part of IPM ESSEN 2027, will provide international participants with opportunities to discover new products, concepts and innovations, explore emerging markets and establish long-term business partnerships.
According to the organisers, personal exchanges between international partners are becoming increasingly important to the horticultural industry as businesses seek new markets and opportunities for sustainable growth.
“IPM ESSEN unites global supply and demand in one place. With the new delegation programme, we are systematically expanding this matchmaking function and creating additional opportunities to connect international IPM participants with one another.
This is how personal encounters lead to new projects and long-term partnerships,” said Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.
The new initiative is targeted at international trade associations and industry organisations, as well as political institutions and economic development agencies from around the world.
Participants will be offered a varied and individually tailored programme extending beyond a conventional trade fair visit.
The programme will include an official reception, guided exhibitor tours at IPM ESSEN and a range of networking events aimed at facilitating direct interaction among international industry stakeholders.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit horticultural businesses, breeders, nurseries and garden centres across North Rhine-Westphalia.
The organisers said the business visits would provide participants with practical insights into the regional horticultural industry while creating opportunities for discussions, professional exchanges and international networking.
Through the initiative, IPM ESSEN 2027 seeks to strengthen its role as a meeting point for international horticulture stakeholders and provide a platform where new business relationships can develop into long-term partnerships.
