Court restrains Bethel Court Estate promoters over Okpanam land

Public has been advised to exercise caution over transactions involving a parcel of land known as Bethel Court Estate, located at Okpanam, behind Wichtech Factory, Asaba, Delta State, following an interlocutory injunction reportedly issued by the State High Court, Asaba, Ibusa Judicial Division.

The warning was contained in a public notice issued by the management of PWAN Advantage Resources Ltd, in connection with Suit No. IBU/51/2026, instituted against M.I.C Property Turnkey Projects Co. Ltd, Chief Michael Igbo and Henric Empire’s Garden Ltd.

According to the notice, the court has restrained the defendants, whether by themselves, their agents, privies, servants or otherwise, from selling, disposing of, dealing with, entering upon or trespassing on the parcel of land being promoted as Bethel Court, pending the determination of the suit.

PWAN Advantage Resources Ltd consequently urged members of the public, prospective purchasers, developers, financial institutions, agents and other interested persons to refrain from purchasing, developing, entering upon or otherwise dealing with the property in disregard of the subsisting court order.

The company further warned that any person who deals with the property or the defendants in alleged contravention of the court order would do so at their own risk and could face contempt proceedings and other consequences associated with disobedience of a court order.

The notice identified the parties to the suit as:
PWAN Advantage Resources Ltd — Plaintiff
Defendants: M.I.C Property Turnkey Projects Co. Ltd; Chief Michael Igbo and Henric Empire’s Garden Ltd.

The company said the public notice was issued to ensure that prospective purchasers and other stakeholders are aware of the reported court order and exercise caution pending the determination of the case.

The dispute is before the State High Court, Asaba (Ibusa Judicial Division), under Suit No. IBU/51/2026.

The notice was signed on behalf of the management of PWAN Advantage Resources Ltd.
