Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has congratulated the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party faithful and stakeholders over what it described as the peaceful and orderly conduct of the party’s presidential primaries and other internal elections across the state.

In a statement signed by the State Coordinator of the group, Obong Prince Ikim, the organisation commended members of the party for demonstrating unity, maturity and commitment to democratic ideals throughout the exercise.

The group noted that the conduct of the primaries reflected the growing strength and cohesion within the APC, adding that the peaceful atmosphere observed during the process further reinforced public confidence in the party’s internal democratic system.

According to the statement, the orderly nature of the elections also underscored the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as well as the ARISE Agenda of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors stated that the successful conduct of the exercise sent a clear message to Nigerians that the APC remained committed to peace, progress, transparency and inclusive participation in the democratic process.

The group also praised members of the Electoral Committee, security agencies and party stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State for ensuring that the primaries were credible, peaceful and hitch-free.

It stressed that the cooperation displayed by party members before, during and after the exercise was a positive sign for the future of the APC ahead of forthcoming elections.

“The peaceful conduct of the primaries is a reflection of the unity and political maturity that exist within our great party.

It demonstrates that the APC remains focused on strengthening democracy and sustaining good governance for the benefit of Nigerians,” the statement read.

The organisation further stated that the outcome of the primaries had strengthened its determination to intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts across communities in Akwa Ibom State in support of the party’s programmes and policies.

It called on party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the collective vision of building a prosperous, secure and inclusive Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Let us continue to work together, united in purpose, as we advance the vision of a prosperous, secure and inclusive Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the statement added.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors reaffirmed its commitment to promoting party unity and mobilising support for the APC, stressing that its guiding principle remained: “One Party, One Message, One Mobilisation Framework.”
