Empowering Women Leaders: IWPC 2025 set to take place in Gambia

Gambian High Commission in Nigeria has partnered with the International Women Power Conference (IWPC) to host one of Africa’s largest gatherings of women leaders.

The IWPC 2025 is scheduled to take place in Banjul, The Gambia, from November 13 to 16, 2025. This historic event promises to be a transformative platform for dialogue, empowerment, and leadership.

The partnership was formalized during a high-level courtesy visit to the Gambian High Commissioner to Nigeria, H.E. Mohamadou Musa-Njie, by IWPC Global President, Amb. Dr. Chris Oko Odey, and the event’s distinguished keynote speaker, Her Regal Majesty Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife.

The conference is expected to feature prominent speakers, including the President of The Gambia and the First Lady, who will officially open the event.

The gathering aimed to empower women leaders and foster development across the continent.

The partnership between The Gambia and IWPC showcases the growing influence of the conference across Africa.
