7-year-old boy needs N2.5m for neurosurgery at LASUTH: Parents cry out to Lagos, Delta First Ladies, others for urgent assistance

Parents of a 7-year-old boy, Master Uche Anuka, are crying out to Lagos State First Lady, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, and other Nigerians for urgent assistance to raise N2.5 million needed for a critical neurosurgery at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

According to the parents, Mr. Monday and Mrs. Ngozi Anuka, from lsheagu Local Government Area of Delta State, their son has been diagnosed with a brain condition that requires immediate surgical intervention.

However, the high cost of the surgery has left them struggling to raise the necessary funds.

In a desperate bid to save their son’s life, the parents are reaching out to the First Ladies of Lagos and Delta States, as well as other well-meaning individuals and organizations, for urgent assistance.

“We are devastated by our son’s condition and the financial burden it has placed on us,” said Ngozi, the boy’s mother.

“We are appealing to the First Ladies and other kind-hearted individuals to help us raise the N2.5 million needed for the surgery.”

The family is racing against time to raise the funds, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

As the parents continue to plead for help, they are holding on to hope that their son will receive the life-saving surgery he needs.

The mother further said that they struggling to pay N24,000 daily oxygen bill, as the child is in LASUTH.

She lamented that they want to take the child home but the teaching hospital advised them not to the child home because of his condition.

The father noted that they only received N5,000 in donations in their 3 week appeal through The Mirror Newspaper.
