Pilgrims to enjoy enhanced welfare package, organiser assures

Oasis of Faith Intercontinental, a travel and logistics firm specializing in pilgrim services, announced on Thursday that its 2026 pilgrims would receive a premium welfare package for their journey to the Holy Land, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free religious experience.

The Chief Executive of Oasis of Faith Intercontinental, Rev. Israel Kristilers, told journalists in Lagos that the organisation is at the forefront of Christian logistics for the Holy Land, aiming to prevent inconsistencies and anxieties that have previously characterised pilgrim tours.

Kristilers, who is also the Pastor in charge of Shepherdhill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos, gave the assurance to encourage potential pilgrims to register with the firm and avoid falling victim to touts.

He said that with the licensing of Oasis by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), pilgrims would always receive the best service.

According to him, the Oasis package covers visas for both countries, return airfare, hotel accommodation on a twin-sharing basis, meals, air-conditioned transportation, entrance fees, border charges, and a detailed tour programme.

Kristilers added that the pilgrimage is open to Christians within and outside Nigeria, including those travelling from the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, and Canada.

He noted that the registration form costs ₦10,000 and will be available until February 10, 2026.

The pilgrimage organisers advised intending pilgrims to register early, as spaces are limited.

According to him, the NCPC supervises all operations and arrangements at every stage to ensure that stipulated guidelines are followed.

“The firm has begun registration for its 2026 tour of Israel and Jordan, scheduled for March 17 to March 26, 2026. The Oasis team will be led by the firm’s chief executive (Rev. Kristilers) to ensure prompt assistance and response throughout the 10-day tour,” he said.

He described the tour as a spiritual journey that affords participants the opportunity to visit major religious and historical sites in Israel, including the Sea of Galilee, Cana of Galilee, Gethsemane, Mount Zion, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jericho, Mount Carmel, the Dead Sea, Via Dolorosa, and the Empty Tomb.

In Jordan, participants would visit Amman, Ancient Gadara, Mount Nebo, the Jabbok River, the Red Sea, Madaba, Petra, and other notable landmarks, he added.
