The Davido Five Alive Tour in Yola was more than just a concert — it was a moment that brought together the creative pulse of the North. Among the many artists, creators, and fans who turned up to celebrate the culture, one name that quietly yet powerfully stood out was Jankaratara, a content
creator whose passion for culture and storytelling continues to place Adamawa on the digital map.

With nearly half a million followers across Facebook and TikTok, Jankaratara has built an impressive online presence rooted deeply in Northern identity, humor, and everyday life. For him, content
creation isn’t just about trends; it’s about representation — showing the world the beauty and resilience of Northern Nigeria through creativity.

Speaking with The Mirror during the event, Jankaratara described his experience at the tour as “amazing
and unforgettable.”

“The whole experience was mind-blowing — the crowd, the love, the energy, the way the city came alive. You could literally feel that something great was happening,” he said.

He expressed deep appreciation to Davido for bringing such a monumental event to Adamawa, saying, “Shoutout to Davido for bringing the platform and energy to Adamawa to inspire a lot of young artists like me. Respect to a true legend in the culture.”

However, Jankaratara also highlighted one of the major challenges facing local creators — sponsorship and connection with like-minded collaborators within the state.

“We have the talent, the culture, and the creativity — what we really need are sponsors and networks that understand our vision and are willing to invest in it,” he noted.

In a space where most creators struggle for visibility, Jankaratara’s consistency and originality have turned him into one of Adamawa’s most promising cultural voices — a reminder that social media isn’t just a place for trends but a tool for storytelling, community, and change.
As the dust settles from Davido’s 5ive Alive Tour, one thing is clear: the North is rising, and voices like Jankaratara’s are leading that movement with pride, creativity, and heart.
