AGN Lagos Chapter congratulates Abubakar Yakubu on inauguration as National President

Lagos Chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has congratulated Alhaji Abubakar Yakubu on his successful inauguration as the National President of the Guild, describing the event as the dawn of a new era for the association.
In a congratulatory message issued on Thursday, and signed by the Public Relations Officer of AGN Lagos Chapter, Abm. Cornell Udofia, the chapter noted that the inauguration ceremony, which held at the AGN Secretariat in Abuja, marked a significant milestone in the history of the Guild.
According to the statement, the leadership and entire members of AGN Lagos Chapter expressed confidence in the capacity, experience, and vision of the new National President to steer the Guild toward greater heights.
“This inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for our great Guild, and we are confident that your leadership, experience, and vision will usher AGN into greater heights,” the statement read.
The Lagos Chapter also extended warm congratulations to the newly inaugurated members of the National Executive Council, as well as the newly appointed Special Advisers, noting that their collective efforts would be instrumental in ensuring a united, purposeful, and successful tenure for the new administration.
The chapter expressed optimism that the new leadership would strengthen unity, professionalism, and growth across the Guild nationwide, while giving priority attention to the welfare, empowerment, and overall development of AGN members across the country.
While welcoming the new administration, the Lagos Chapter also commended the immediate past National President for his dedication, commitment, and selfless service to the Guild.
The statement acknowledged his role in laying a solid and formidable foundation that would enable the new leadership to sustain and build on existing progress.
“The outgoing National President’s efforts in laying down and putting up a formidable structure have provided a solid foundation upon which the new National President can build and sustain progress,” the statement added.
The Lagos Chapter concluded by wishing Alhaji Abubakar Yakubu and his team wisdom, strength, and success as they take on the responsibility of leading the Actors Guild of Nigeria toward a brighter and more prosperous future.
