YALI Network Ogun brings healthcare relief to underserved Osiele community

Residents of Iwo-Ali Village in Osiele, Ogun State, received much-needed healthcare services through a free medical outreach organized by YALI Network Ogun.

The initiative, aimed at improving access to basic healthcare in underserved communities, drew participation from a team of dedicated volunteers committed to promoting health and well-being at the grassroots level.

The outreach was led by Gbadebo Elizabeth Adebimpe under the supervision of the State Coordinator, Mary Owoode, whose leadership ensured the smooth and successful execution of the programme.

During the exercise, over 100 residents benefited from a range of healthcare services, including basic medical check-ups, professional health consultations, access to basic health insurance, and essential health education.

The intervention addressed common health concerns while also emphasizing preventive care practices among the villagers.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting that such outreach programmes are vital in communities where access to quality healthcare services remains limited.

The organizers highlighted that the success of the outreach was made possible through the collaborative efforts of committed volunteers and stakeholders who contributed their time and resources to the cause.

They reaffirmed YALI Network Ogun’s commitment to community development and public health promotion, adding that more outreach programmes would be organized to reach other underserved communities across the state.
