Akpabio’s community assures Tinubu, Eno of strong backing ahead of 2027

Residents of Essien Udim Local Government Area have reaffirmed their unwavering support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Godswill Akpabio, and Umo Eno, as the Renewed Hope Initiative formally inaugurated its Chapter Coordinating and Advisory Committee in the area, signaling a strengthened grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 political landscape.

The event, held at the Essien Udim Local Government Council Secretariat, attracted a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including community leaders, women’s groups, youth representatives, and party officials.

Speaking at the inauguration, the President General of the Arise with Renewed Hope Initiative, Engr. Uwem Okoko stated that the gathering underscored a unified commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilization and advancing the development agenda of the current administration at both state and federal levels.

He congratulated the newly inaugurated executive and advisory committee members, urging them to remain steadfast in promoting the ideals of the initiative.

He noted the strategic importance of Essien Udim as the home of the Senate President and expressed confidence in the people’s continued loyalty and political support.

Engr. Okoko further emphasized the need for sustained backing for the administration of Governor Umo Eno and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting ongoing and prospective development projects expected to benefit the area.

The Chairman of Essien Udim Local Government Area, Hon. Ntiedo Usoroh, who also serves in a coordinating capacity within the initiative, expressed appreciation to the President, the Senate President, and the Governor.

He pledged the commitment of the Coordinating Committee to work diligently toward ensuring overwhelming electoral support for the trio in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking earlier, the International Coordinator of the initiative, Otuekong Udo Kirian Akpan, described Essien Udim as a politically significant area within the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

He commended the turnout and noted that the visit formed part of a broader statewide engagement, with Essien Udim marking a key stop in the initiative’s outreach.

In his welcome address, Hon. Usoroh described Essien Udim as a pivotal gateway within Akwa Ibom State and reiterated the area’s readiness to deliver strong electoral support for the Senate President, the Governor, and the President in the forthcoming elections.

Also speaking, Prince Ukpong Akpabio emphasized the unity of purpose among the political leadership in Essien Udim and reiterated their resolve to sustain alignment with the state and federal administrations.

Goodwill messages were delivered by several dignitaries, including the Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Anthony Luke, who expressed appreciation to the President for his leadership and support for Akwa Ibom State. Other stakeholders, including political leaders, women representatives, and youth groups, collectively reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing widespread support across the local government area.

The event concluded with a strong message of unity, coordination, and readiness among stakeholders to consolidate political gains and ensure continued support for the Renewed Hope agenda.
