Grace Revolution Initiative empowers women through Annabell Hand of Compassion

A women-focused empowerment initiative, Annabell Hand of Compassion, is making, significant impact across Lagos by equipping women and housewives with practical production skills aimed at improving household income and economic independence.

The initiative, which has existed for several years, operates as an outreach arm of Grace Revolution International Ministry, Lagos, under the leadership of Pastor Schugger Ezenwa Onyeukwu.

Despite its growing reach, many participants only recently became aware of its direct connection to the ministry’s broader social intervention programmes.

Annabell Hand of Compassion is coordinated by Engr. Mrs. Annabel Ezenwa Onyeukwu, whose empowerment framework is built around training, monitoring, mentoring, and supporting women to become productive entrepreneurs.

The programme is specifically designed to help women develop practical skills that can translate into sustainable small-scale businesses.

One of the distinctive features of the initiative is its interdenominational and inclusive approach. Participation is open to women regardless of religious background, with Muslims and women from other faiths actively participating in the training programmes.

Participants are trained in the production of a wide range of household and personal care products, including disinfectants, liquid soap, toilet cleaners, hair cream, body cream, petroleum jelly products, and other home care items.

According to organisers, more than 100 different product lines are available for participants to learn, offering diverse opportunities for income generation.

To ensure wider access, the programme is taken directly to communities across Lagos.

Training sessions have been conducted in different parts of the state, including suburban areas such as Iyana Ishashi and other underserved communities where access to skill acquisition programmes is often limited.

A major attraction of the initiative is that the training is offered free of charge.

Beyond skills acquisition, participants are supported and encouraged to begin production immediately after training, helping them transition quickly into income-generating activities.

Organisers say the initiative is driven by a strong commitment to social impact and community development, reflecting a model of ministry that integrates spiritual outreach with economic empowerment.

Observers say programmes like Annabell Hand of Compassion play a vital role in addressing unemployment and poverty among women, particularly among housewives and low-income earners seeking opportunities to support their families financially.
