Primate Ayodele expresses discontent over C &S Church leadership pick

Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has blasted the Cherubim and Seraphim Church over their choice of leadership and said that the church should give the leadership to whom God has ordained for it.

Primate Ayodele disclosed the opening of a new INRI church at Agor, Lagos State, on Saturday.

He said, “I don’t say you should like me, Cherubim and Seraphim have led their lives for women, two women want to control Cherubim and Seraphim, Ajayi and Sholoye.

“Women should keep quiet in the church; if you don’t know, you should go and ask your husband. I am not saying you should like me, I am not inviting you to my programmes. We no longer follow the protocol of the church. Is this what Father Moses teaches us? What happened to the men? Is that how it is supposed to be done? I don’t say you should like me,” he said.

The man of God also ensured that nothing hinders the progress and smooth operations of his new church by donating a brand new Highlander jeep and a new house to the pastor in charge of the new church.

Speaking to journalists, Pastor Biola Ayinde, the Pastor in charge of the Agor Branch of INRI, said, “I thank the God of INRI who made it possible for the dedication of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church branch in Agor Palaceway, it is known as People’s Achievement Parish, which Primate Elijah Ayodele just built for us.

“We pray that God will continue to bless him more and more; he has been doing this for other people, but now he has decided to do it for us. We thank him.

“I am over happy seeing what is happening here today, I don’t have to say much because if I am to say how I feel, time will not be enough,” he stated.

Dignitaries at the event include Primate Oladele Akeju, the Baba Aladura in C and S, Primate Imole Abiola, and other anointed men of God.
