50 participants benefit as NCDMB-sponsored Oracle Primavera P6 training ends in Bayelsa

Five-day Oracle Primavera P6 training programme, sponsored by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and executed by Mathnebi Nigeria Limited, has successfully concluded in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The training programme, brought together 50 participants drawn from various organisations and professional backgrounds. It was designed to equip participants with practical skills in project planning, scheduling and management using the globally recognised project management software, Oracle Primavera P6.

Speaking at the closing ceremony in Yenagoa, Company Secretary of Mathnebi Nigeria, Florence Christian, expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board for the opportunity given to the company to implement the training programme on behalf of the board.

Christian also commended the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for its continued support for initiatives aimed at strengthening local capacity in the oil and gas sector.

According to him, the leadership of the board under Felix Omatsola Ogbe has remained committed to programmes that enhance the professional competence of Nigerians in fields where Oracle Primavera P6 is widely applied.

Participants at the training expressed satisfaction with the quality and organisation of the programme.

Many of them praised the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board and Mathnebi Nigeria Limited for the initiative, describing the sessions as insightful and highly practical.

They also commended the facilitators for their expertise and the quality of the training materials, noting that the programme exceeded their expectations and would significantly improve their ability to manage complex projects effectively.

The training programme forms part of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board’s broader efforts to strengthen human capacity and promote the development of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

By equipping professionals with advanced project management skills, the board hopes to further enhance local participation and efficiency within the sector.
