Celebrating Womanhood: Divine Methodist Church Ejigbo Women’s Fellowship holds successful Women’s Day event

Divine Methodist Church Ejigbo, Lagos, Women’s Fellowship recently celebrated International Women’s Day with a vibrant and inspiring event.

Divine Methodist Church Ejigbo is in Christ Church Circuit of Lagos North Diocese.

The celebration, which took place on Sunday, brought together women of the church and members to rejoice in God.

The event featured a range of activities, including prayers, songs, and dances.

The women also acted in drama, and coral speech, with messages of encouragement for the heavenly race and living a faithful life.

The guest preacher, Sister Juliet Chikwe, wife of the former minister of the church, delivered a powerful message on the importance of women’s rising and living a life that pleases God.

She emphasized the need for women to be builders and make their homes a place where their children and husbands would love to live.

She quoted John Chapter 11: 25, which stated: ” Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live”.

The celebration was attended by many women, who were inspired and motivated by the event.

The women’s fellowship expressed their gratitude to the church leadership and members for their support and participation.

In her speech, President, Divine Methodist Church, Ejigbo Women’s Fellowship, Sister Adaugo Igbokwe, said: “We are thrilled to celebrate Mother’s Day with our sisters from the church and members. The event was a testament to the power of women coming together to a special day set aside to celebrate Mothers”

The Divine Methodist Church Ejigbo Women’s Fellowship is committed to promoting women’s commitment to the service of God.

The fellowship provides a platform for women to come together, share their experiences, and support each other in their spiritual and personal journeys.
